Self-assessment management and quality assurance

Proceeding from the keenness of the Khartoum Applied College to be among the list of distinguished universities, it was keen to adopt the application of quality in its comprehensive concept, and accordingly, the Department of Self-Evaluation and Quality Assurance was introduced in the year 2015. The administration undertakes the implementation of quality in all its units, whose tasks include satisfying the real needs of the community, improving performance in all areas of the college’s work, and evaluating and measuring performance according to specific standards. In its work, the administration follows in its work to hold periodic meetings with the councils and committees of programs, departments and secretariats to get acquainted with what has been accomplished in the previous period and to develop a plan to prepare the college for the stage of programmatic and institutional self-evaluation, then external evaluation and accreditation, with the participation of all faculty members, committees, specialized units and administrators.

Management Functions.

  1. Dissemination of quality ideas and concepts of its strategy.
  2. Implementation of the regulations, principles, and standards for self-evaluation and quality assurance, under the supervision of the College’s Self-Evaluation and Quality Assurance Council.
  3. Helping departments to prepare files for self-assessment.
  4. Preparing the college files for the external calendar and then accreditation.
  5. Implementation of the strategic plans approved by the Council in cooperation with the various departments to improve performance.
